Disk (Disc) Sander Safety

The disk sander comprises of a circular plate that normally operates in a vertical or horizontal position.

Portable units can be utilized in all planes. A cloth or paper-backed abrasive disk is attached to the plate with adhesive, cement or other medium. The diameter of the disk indicates the size of the machine. Common sizes range from 2½" to twelve inches.
